Melissa Stahley is the vice president of corporate marketing, and joined Forterro in the summer of 2013. As vice president of corporate marketing, Melissa is responsible for overseeing the global marketing and product marketing efforts of Forterro's business units. She also manages global marketing shared services and Forterro corporate communications. Melissa brings nearly 15 years of marketing experience within the software/IT sector to Forterro.
Prior to joining Forterro, Melissa served as a marketing manager for an Indianapolis startup, Indigo Biosystems. Prior to that, Melissa held a number of marketing management roles at Aptean (formerly Consona Corporation). As the manager of corporate communications for Consona, Melissa helped to onboard and integrate 13 acquisitions, as Consona grew to become a global software company with $120 million in revenue and 700 employees.
During her tenure at Consona, Melissa was part of the CRM division executive team helping to drive the strategy, profitability and operations of the division, while overseeing product marketing, marketing communications, lead generation, and inside sales for five CRM products across the Americas, Europe, India, Southeast Asia and Japan. Before Consona merged with CDC Software to become Aptean, Melissa served in the role of director, marketing, where she was responsible for managing lead generation, marketing communications, and corporate marketing services across all ERP and CRM products worldwide.
Melissa holds a B.S. in journalism and English from the University of Indianapolis, and a M.A. in public relations and rhetoric from Purdue University.
